QUESTION TO TONY BENNETT
YOU HAVE STATED THAT IF SOMEONE DOES NOT REPLY TO YOUR STORIES AND LIES ABOUT THEM, THEN YOU CONSIDER THEM TO BE TRUE BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOT CORRECTED YOU. SO GOING BY YOUR LOGIC I WILL STATE THE FOLLOWING ABOUT YOU.
A. YOU WERE A IN PATIENT IN A MENTAL WARD FOR 4 MONTHS.
B. YOU FANTASISE ABOUT SEX WITH GIRLS DRESSED AS SCHOOLGIRLS.
C. YOU WERE CAUTIONED TO STAY AWAY FROM A SCHOOL.
D. YOUR HATRED OF HOMOSEXUALS COMES FROM THE TIME YOU WERE BUGGERED AT YOUR SCHOOL.
E. YOU WERE CAUGHT MASTURBATING IN YOUR LOCAL TOILETS.
F. YOU HAVE A LOVELY HEAD OF HAIR.
G. OH AND YOU RECEIVED ANOTHER LETTER FROM CARTER RUCK TWO WEEKS AGO DIDN'T YOU.
So Mr Bennett if you wish to tell me that the things i have wrote about you are wrong, i will be glad to remove them.
HOWEVER IF YOU DO NOT TELL ME THAT THEY ARE WRONG, A LOT OF PEOPLE WILL AGREE THAT WITH YOUR LOGIC EVERYTHING THAT WAS SAID IS TRUE

By way of reply:
1. He has, on his blog, fabricated a response from me to his article.
2. I have tried to reply, denying of course all the allegations, but the blog will not accept my response, that's why I'm posting it here.
3. In response to muratfan's allegations, A to G, I offer the following brief responses:
A. Have never had any kind of mental treatment in my life, let alone been in a psychiatric hospital. I have however, in the past as a qualified social worker, been responsible for taking decisions as to whether people should be sectioned or not. This is a fabrication endlessly repeated on sites which support the McCann family and believe their version of what really happened to Madeleine McCann
B. A despicable thing to say and of course totally untrue and fabricated.
C. Absolutely no truth in this whatsoever, another calculated fabrication.
D. I have no hatred for homosexuals, not do I hate anyone, but I do feel a certain contempt for those who invent such obscene and malicious allegations.
E. Again, as for A, B. C. D, no truth whatsoever in yet another deliberately fabricated claim.
G. Actually, no. The last letter from Carter Ruck was months ago when they claimed that the article by Barbara Nottage, which simply quoted the statements by the McCanns and their friends about how the abduction is supposed to have happened, was libelllous. Since almost the entire article was based on police witness statements made by the McCanns, Jane Tanner, Dr Matthew Oldfield and other police sources, we did not consider the article libellous but we did pull half of it in order to minimise the risk of Carter Ruck suing us.
4. I apologise to Jill and to fellow forum members for placing this filth from 'muratfan' on this board. My main justification for doing so is simply to show what goes on in the mind of 'muratfan'.
5. Let it be duly noted that 'muratfan' is a welcome and valued member of McCann-believing forums such as PFA2 and Just-A-Thought-you-know.
6. 'muratfan' is believed to be Ian West from Norfolk, the photographer also seen and photographed on 27 January 2010 outside the McCanns' celebrity fund-raising bash at Richard Branson's Knightsbridge penthouse suite, 99 Knightsbridge.
7. As his name suggests, 'muratfan' is indeed a fan of Robert Murat, the man shown in articles on The Madeleine Foundation website to have changed his account to the Portuguese police in 17 material respects from his version on 14 May 2010 to his version on 10 and 11 July.
8. 'muratfan' is upset by this article.

Muratfan and his friends have been posting these mallicious lies for a long time now. I think the point Tony is trying to make is that even when he denies them, muratfan won't play fair and he won't post Tony's denials or remove the lies as he said he would.
But that's muratfan for you.
BUT JILL TONY HAS ONLY EVER POSTED ONCE ON THIS SITE, AND THAT WAS POSTED. (that was to ask me to remove a link to the 60 Reasons)

Surely the only benefit would be to actively encourge any re-opening of the case rather than continually try to paint a picture that the McCanns are some kind of monsterous creatures.
Pascal is making the comparison between the more extreme ends of each camp, who in my opinion have done nothing positive other than create a sub-culture on the fora of hatred where the main topics of discussion aren't about the case but just slating each other.
The majority of the general public know precious little about the PJ investigation and files as our press have chosen, for whatever reasons, to ignore them. When I was distributing MF leaflets I met many people who were keen to know more about the investigation and felt that much was been hidden from them in the press. Twinkle, I hardly think that raising concerns about the investigation is, to use your words, 'waging a war against the McCanns' - time to throw away your book of McCann Mantras and start debating the issues in a civilized manne
