A SICK internet troll has threatened to gun down Kate McCann as she runs the London Marathon, it emerged yesterday.

Cops are trying to trace the user who made the chilling comments on Facebook.

Kate, 45 — mum of disappeared Madeleine — is taking part in next month’s run in aid of the Missing People charity.

Under a link to a newspaper story on the event, the weirdo wrote: “Well I am going. Anyone got a gun? BBBanggggg!”

Other trolls, who have made Kate and husband Gerry’s lives hell with smears, piled in with further sick comments.

One warped user wrote: “What would really spook her is if she is surrounded by a group all wearing Madeleine face masks.”

A few made jokes about entering police sniffer dogs into the event to chase after Kate.

McCann family spokesman Clarence Mitchell said yesterday: “This material has been brought to the attention of the police.

“One of the posts is actually a death threat and is being dealt with appropriately.”

Kate’s big run is on April 21 — just 12 days before the sixth anniversary of her three-year-old daughter’s disappearance from a holiday villa in Praia Da Luz on Portugal’s Algarve.

The Sun launched a Target A Troll campaign in September 2011 after the McCanns were tormented.

A source close to Kate said: “She has been told about these vile posts, but it will not put her off competing.”

A Scotland Yard spokesman said: “We are aware of the comments posted online. These are currently being assessed.”

The sickest thing about these people is that they use the motivation of 'justice' for Madeleine McCann, which makes them even worse than if they were simple upfront haters!

They obviously couldn't care less about Madeleine McCann and are merely attaching themselves to her because of the profile and attention it brings them. Come on... "if" they were the kind of people who cared about vulnerale children, they would go about their lives doing something productive about all the millions of deprived and abused children in the world. But no... Madeleine is the child they 'claim' to want to devote their lives to (despite believing she is dead, and despite the fact that writing hateful things about Kate and Gerry McCann is clearly potentially extremely harmful to Sean and Amelie McCann.

These people stick together- spinning around in their mutual admiration society in cyberspace, where all of these sick, unbalanced individuals engage in self-congratulatory comments.

Most of them use fake names and hide behind their computer screens. But those who do use their real names are almost always liars. They put up bogus occupations on their internet profiles.

For example, Joana Morais claims to be a 'filmmaker' (lol!) and thinks that speaking a couple of languages means she can use the title of 'translator'. Sure- she can translate conversations bewteen friends and family, but she does not seem to comprehend that a different level of skill is required to translate police files and other items that contain complex syntax. She doesn't understand syntax or metalanguage and her translations are woeful and biased.

Then there's Chelsea Hoffman- Someone who calls herself a 'crime analyst', but who, in reality can barely string two sentences together. Again, she has no qualifications, no journalistic background and no background in psychology- or anything that warrants this bogus title.

Mr. Amaral, a crooked cop has used Madeleine to become an 'author'.

Then there's the people like Pat Brown and Tony Bennett. Pat Brown has an MA from Boston University, which any intelligent person knows does not qualify one as a 'criminal profiler'. But apparently it's fine to use this title liberally in the USA. Nevertheless, I still consider it a bogus title, as one usually thinks of criminal profilers as people who are employed on cases and have a background in forensic psychology or psychiatry.

And what can you say about Mr. Bennett? Well, like Pat Brown, he is better educated and more articulate than most of the McCann hater morons- and just like Pat Brown, this is precisely what draws him to the group.

Pat and Tony get an instant fan club of people who hang on every word they say, simply because they've both got a better way of putting words together.

People like Pat Brown and Tony Bennett know that they cannot and will not ever make a mark in the real world and this ring of cybernutters suits their need to be admired down to the ground.

Not ONE of these people has made any contribution to the world. They clearly have very little love in their lives.

All of them crave fame and that is why they see this in Kate and Gerry McCann. They are furious with Kate and Gerry for becoming overnight celebrities- because 'if' these people could kill for fame and noteriety, they would!

They just can't grasp the simple fact that Kate and Gerry McCann are two of the worlds most reluctant celebrities, whose only motivation for any kind of profile, is to find their missing daughter, Madeleine.

I hope that this sick Sheila gets thrown in jail, but then, there's so many more of her out there... Sitting... waiting... for the NEXT update on Kate and Gerry McCann! They will be doing this in their respective nursing homes... What a bunch of sad losers they are.; 17 March 2013 at 06:27
