Amaral, according to reports has fled his rented settee and gone into hiding. This is happening at a time when one of his friends/ associates are about to be questioned about the disappearance of Madeleine McCann.
Amaral has been under surveillance for a few weeks, detectives watching who he meets and when, and the detectives are poised to ask for permission to have access to Amarals bank accounts.
